Hebrew & RTL
USING SPENT
Hebrew & RTL.
Spent's UI is available in Hebrew with full right-to-left layout. Switch any time.
Switching language
Section titled “Switching language”Settings → Preferences → Language gives you two options:
- English (left-to-right)
- עברית (right-to-left)
Your choice is saved per browser via localStorage.
What flips
Section titled “What flips”- Layout direction — sidebar moves to the right; tables, badges, and breadcrumbs all flip.
- Dates — formatted Israeli-style (
17.5.2026rather than5/17/2026). - Numbers — currency still leads with
₪but commas and digit grouping match Hebrew conventions. - Category names — translated.
What does not flip
Section titled “What does not flip”- Bank logos — kept as-is, since logos have a “correct” reading direction baked in.
- The screenshots in these docs — left as English so the docs read consistently. The Hebrew layout looks like a mirror of these screenshots.
- Merchant names — preserved as the bank reports them. A Hebrew merchant stays Hebrew, an English one stays English.
Known limitations
Section titled “Known limitations”- Tooltips in Hebrew can wrap awkwardly on very narrow screens.
- Charts (Recharts) don’t fully mirror — the y-axis stays on the left.
- Date inputs in some browsers still pop their picker in LTR.
